IFSU Conducts Annual In-House Review for Completed Research Papers

Ifugao State University (IFSU) conducted its Annual In-House Review (AIHR) for Completed Research at the Ifugao State University – Lamut Campus on September 18, 2023. The event was held in line with Goal 2 of IFSU, which is strong research leadership and culture; and the Sustainable Development Goals.

In her Welcome Remarks, Dr. Marissa P. Bulong, Vice President for Research Development, Extension, and Training, lauded the openness of faculty-researchers in presenting their research results for improvement.

"This event is not merely a gathering. It is a celebration of our collective accomplishments and a reflection of our dedication to higher education, research, and community service," she added. "I have no doubt that we will engage in profound discussions, embark on collaborative ventures, and exchange innovative ideas that will shape the future of our institution and our society."

University President Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon likewise inspired the researchers to publish their research and have their research results be felt by the communities and stakeholders through extension.

Dr. Dugyon also expressed her joy with the drastic increase in publications by IFSU faculty members in reputable journals since 2017, elevating the global presence and impact of IFSU. Notably, under Dr. Dugyon's leadership, IFSU increased incentives for researchers to encourage research endeavors and publication. She thanked both research presenters and evaluators for their time, which she said is the best gift to share.
