Ifugao State University (IFSU) is showcasing a variety of Ifugao textiles and the institution's products at the 2023 SUC Fair in SM City Iloilo, Benigno Aquino Avenue, Mandurriao, Iloilo City.

The fair, which is being held in celebration of the 29th anniversary of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and the 3rd National Higher Education Summit, has the theme "Navigating the Global Landscape Through Innovations, Cultural and Arts Preservation, and Higher Education Quality."

The team is led by Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, Chair of the Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) and IFSU University President. She said that the lone university in Ifugao is committed to preserving and promoting the province's culture and heritage.

"We are proud to showcase the beauty and craftsmanship of Ifugao textiles and products at the SUC Fair," said Dr. Codamon-Dugyon. "We hope that this will help to raise awareness of Ifugao culture and heritage and encourage people to support local artisans."

In addition to the textiles, the IFSU team is also showcasing products made by incubatees being supported by its  Intellectual Property, Technology & Business Management Center (IPTBMC). These products include a variety of coffee, tea, and organic soaps.

The SUC Fair is open to the public from July 10 to 13, 2023.
