They were formally recognized during a Fellowship hosted by the National Budget Circular (NBC) Zonal Center based at Ifugao State University (IFSU)- Lagawe Campus and Cordillera Administrative Region Association of State Universities and Colleges (CARASUC) at Banaue Youth Hostel, Banaue, Ifugao on November 24, 2022.

IFSU registered eight new professors. Meanwhile, Apayao State College, Abra State Institute of Science and Technology, and Kalinga State University (KSU) recorded three (3) new professors.

Said personnel were promoted after undergoing a thorough evaluation process by the Philippine Association of State University and Colleges (PASUC). They were recommended by each SUC's Board of Regents for funding from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM).

NBC 461 seeks to establish and prescribe rules and regulations governing the implementation of the Revised Compensation and Position Classification Plan for faculty positions in SUCs and Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) following the modified Common Criteria for Evaluation (CCE) and Qualitative Contribution Evaluation (QCE).

Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, CARASUC Chair, and IFSU University President, commended the new full-fledged professors and challenged them to continue playing a major responsibility in establishing, nurturing, and providing excellent quality education for the students, their profession, and their respective educational institutions. // DCPIA with reports from Irene R.
