IFSU-ATBI empowers entrepreneurs thru Feasibility Study seminar-workshop toward biz, economic dev’t


Ifugao State University’s Agri-Aqua Technology Business Incubator (IFSU-ATBI) equipped local business owners of Ifugao with entrepreneurial and knowledge skills through a two-day feasibility study seminar-workshop at the Multipurpose Hall, 3rd-floor Admin building, Lamut campus, on September 14-15, 2023.

The event aimed to capacitate incubatees and pre-incubatees in evaluating the viability of their business operations by conducting comprehensive feasibility studies. Through this approach, participants will be able to analyze and understand key factors including market dynamics, technical feasibility, operational and management strategies, as well as financial considerations.

Dr. John G. Pagaddut, Dean of the College of Business Management-Lagawe Campus, who served as the resource speaker provided valuable insights on the intricacies of feasibility studies, covering vital aspects such as Market Analysis, Technical Feasibility, and Financial Feasibility.

Lilia’s Food Products by Lilia A. Duluan, Angie’s Mushroom by Angelina B. Lupog, Tappan’s Pinunog by Florida T. Tappan, Dylan’s Wine Manufacturing by Sigfred B. Immatong, Jireh Organization by Angela Bumina-ang, Lynn’s Food Product by Ronelyn Villaflor, Tajjab Kape by Gretchen Tayaban, FRAME Cacao Chocolate by Christopher D. Tucpi, Elsie’s Rice Wine by Elsie C. Kimmayong, Kimchi Pinoy Style by Juliet E. Rodolfo, and Terry’s Chili Paste by Corazon Chulipa were among the products and organizations that took part in the said endeavor.

The initiative was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology-Philippine Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources Research and Development (DOST-PCAARRD).

Follow-up seminars and training sessions are slated for implementation, which include monitoring and evaluation of the business establishments and farm visits to ensure the business's sustainability and success.
