Writeshop held to elevate research quality for 1st issue of IFSU journal for education, social sciences


In its commitment to promoting academic excellence and fostering a culture of research, Ifugao State University (IFSU) organized a seminar-writeshop at the Multipurpose Hall, IFSU – Lamut Campus on May 30-31, 2023.

The event brought together researchers from various disciplines to refine their papers for potential publication in the inaugural issue of the IFSU Journal of Education and Social Sciences (IJESS).

Under the guidance of Dr. Elpidio B. Basilio Jr., Director of the Department of Research Development (DRD), the event aimed to accommodate the increasing number of research papers in the fields of education and social sciences, contributed by multidisciplinary faculty members, non - teaching personnel, and Ifugao Satoyama Meister Training Program meisters.

Dr. Basilio added that this initiative reflects IFSU's commitment to nurturing scholarly contributions and advancing the quality of research in these crucial areas.

Dr. Adrian L. Albano, a faculty researcher, provided valuable guidance and imparted essential knowledge on the intricacies of navigating the writing process. His insights served as a valuable resource for participating researchers, guiding them to enhance their research.

IJESS will be published under the Upland Farm, the official journal of the University. The Upland Farm also publishes research on Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology; Agriculture; and Natural Sciences.
