IFSU holds Agency In-House Review


Ifugao State University (IFSU) - Research and Development, Extension and Training (RDET) held its two-day on-site and virtual Agency In-House Review for completed researches and extension projects on October 29-30, 2020.

Fourteen (14) completed researches on Agriculture, Aquatic and Natural Resources; Education Related Studies; Industry, Energy and Emerging Technology; Social Science, Culture and Socio-Economic Studies; and 11 development/extension projects were presented for evaluation to external evaluators.

Dr. Dinah Corazon M. Licyayo, Vice President for RRDET, lauded participating faculty members for working on the completion of their researches and subjecting these to evaluation.

Meanwhile, University President Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon expressed her unwavering support and stressed the value of research to the communities.

"We research because we believe that there are a lot more to be discovered and re-discovered, a lot of problems that need to be solved and resolved, to prove and to disprove, to study and investigate, to create new meaning, to generate new knowledge, to build new theory, and to understand the complexities of issues in the society," remarked Dr. Dugyon.

The panel of evaluators in the different sectors were the following: Dr. Jimmy G. Catanes, Education Supervisor II of Commission on Higher Education (CHED)-Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR); Dr. Venus Grace K. Fagyan, Vice President for Resource Generation and Linkages and Associate Professor V of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC); Engineer Elizabeth Calub of University of Baguio (UB); Dr. Imelda O. Degay of Benguet State University (BSU); Dr.Elbert A. Sana, Director for Citrus Resource Research Development Center (CRRDC); and Josue A. Chua and Dr. Reynald A. Delos Trinos of Nueva Vizcaya State University (NVSU).
