In a remarkable display of talent and dedication, students from the Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management (BSTM) and Bachelor of Science in Hotel Management (BSHM) programs of Ifugao State University (IFSU) – Lagawe campus recently participated in the highly anticipated AMPAYAG 2023: 1st International Hospitality and Tourism Research Conference and Skills Convergence held in Ilocos Norte on May 18–19, 2023.

This prestigious event provided a platform for these aspiring tourism and hospitality practitioners to demonstrate their acquired skills on a global stage.

The event witnessed an array of competitions that highlighted the students' expertise in various disciplines. Among the outstanding performers were Ashley Pagadut and Kehl Terenz Dumawol Ab-abulon, who secured the Gold Medal in the Kulinarya Ilocandia (Tour Package) category.

Moreover, Adeline Dammake, Romelyn Gano, and Joylyn Baguan displayed their remarkable finesse in table setting with a floral centerpiece, earning themselves the Gold Medal.

Janice Gad-oan and Janine Pundinlan, who participated in the Centerpiece Design (Lobby) category, received the Bronze Medal. Jazzy May Dinamling and Gino Moriss Bayongobong; and Precious Huagon earned Certificates of Participation in the Klasika Kulinarya and Flower Arrangement, respectively.
