Initiated by CHED-CAR headed by Dr. Demetrio P. Anduyan Jr., Project MARiTES, otherwise known as ๐obilizing ๐vailable ๐esources through ๐nclusive ๐raining and ๐ntrepreneurship of ๐tudent-๐rantees, aims to equip beneficiaries the adequate knowledge and skills in entrepreneurship and business management.
A series of training will cover four areas, namely: entrepreneurial mind-setting; marketing; financial management; and production management.
CHED-CAR noted that 'some of the TES beneficiaries allot and spend their stipend on putting up small-scale businesses like pig farming, poultry, sari-sari store, retailing, and many more.' The agency, being the overseer of the whole implementation, aims for Project MARiTES to empower eligible TES beneficiaries in propelling their start-up and/or small-scale businesses by undergoing training from experts of the DTI-CAR.
Successful trainees will receive certificates of completion to be issued by CHED-CAR and DTI-CAR.
