IFSU celebrates achievements through Thanksgiving Service

TRULY GOD'S UNIVERSITY | To collectively give thanks to the Almighty for the institution’s many milestones, Ifugao State University (IFSU) kicked off its whole-day activities in line with the celebration of the 102nd Founding Anniversary and Charter Day Celebration with a Thanksgiving Service at the Open Gym early on October 14, 2022.

Pastor Marvin P. Nanglegan of the Christ is the Answer Church (CITAC) who ministered the service emphasized the need to acknowledge the Lord in times of victory and to recognize people who dedicated their lives to IFSU’s development.

“We are standing on the works of those who came before us. They were faithful. They were prayerful," he added.

The preacher shared the message on humility and seeking God’s help in ‘enlarging one’s territory' based on the powerful prayer of Jabez in the Book of Chronicles.

To expand territory or go higher, Pastor Nanglegan expounded on its basic requirements: to ask for wisdom from God and grow in character.

“Moving to the next level translates to greater challenges, problems, and pressures. To handle these, we need to ask God for wisdom and courage just like King Solomon in the Bible. We also need to grow in character and conduct. Great things happen because great people are willing to sacrifice,” he said.

Pastor Nanglegan capped his message saying that going higher means needing the Lord more.
