IFSU subjects academic programs to continuing accreditation

To sustain excellence in education, Ifugao State University (IFSU) subjected select programs to accreditation by the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities (AACCUP), Inc. via Zoom from September 19-23, 2022.

Programs submitted for scrutiny for the third and fourth Survey Visit by external expert groups were the following: Master in Public Administration, Master in Arts in Education, Master in Arts in Teaching, Master of Arts in Nursing, Ph.D. in Management, AB in Political Science, and Bachelor of Secondary Education.

Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, University President, lauded concerned officials, deans, and faculty members for their initiatives to commit to the accreditation which she said is a manifestation of their flexibility and resilience in transcending challenges.

“Accreditation is already a way of life in IFSU as we open ourselves to external scrutiny. The IFSU academic community embraces the culture of accreditation, and the culture of Excellence,” Dr. Dugyon said. “Accreditation is one of the top priorities of our administration, cognizant of our shared desire of ensuring the highest possible academic standards in our university, and pursuant to our number 1 goal of academic excellence.”
