About ICDC

The IFSU Career Development Center (ICDC) was established per Board of Regents Resolution No. 189, Series of 2019. It seeks to improve the quality of education and increase the employability of graduates through its three major services – the Talent Co-Creation Lab (TCCL), the Internship and Traineeship Service (ITS) and the Student-Community Volunteering Service (SCVS). The ICDC provides a physical and digital space to include an Ideation Room, a Discussion/Mentoring Area, an Audio-Visual Room and a Reflection Room open to the students, faculty and external partners of Ifugao State University.

The Center is an offshoot of the Special Project: Integrating Talent Development into Innovation Ecosystems in Higher Education (INNOTAL) co-funded by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme - Capacity Building in Higher Education. Project INNOTAL aims at building the capacity of participating universities in India, Philippines, Nepal and Sri Lanka to ensure graduates’ employability and develop students’ talent by encouraging collaboration with external organizations (industry, public sector and community) and by providing opportunities for students to actively participate in such cooperation. While the project started in October 2017 and to end on October 2021, the ICDC shall sustain the gains of the project implementation. To learn more about the project, visit http://innotal.unwe.bg/.
