University President finds time for student concerns
True to her Memorandum Order No. 101 s. 2018, University President Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon made time to meet and interact with the student leaders dubbed as “Student Engagement with the President” for the second time following their first meeting in February 2019.
The student leaders were given the opportunity to air their concerns such as curfew hours inside the campus, internet connection, availability of comfort rooms, college building among others in which the University President took immediate action and gave answers to all their queries and concerns.
The university president also asked for patience from the student leaders for the delayed completion of infrastructures but assured them that all facilities are for their benefits and for a better experience during their stay in the university.
The “Student Engagement with the President” is scheduled every 2nd Wednesday of the 1st month of every quarter at 1:30 in the afternoon. This is an hour dialogue between the University President and all the student leaders from the different student organizations in the university that served as an avenue to communicate, interact and connect with each other with the goal of a closer, cooperative and effective partnership fostering a climate of mutual understanding and commitment for the achievement of the University’s Vision, Mission, Goals and Objectives.
