Dr. Tamargo is recipient of awards by Cagayan Valley Librarian Council


Dr. Liza M. Tamargo, Director for Library Services of the Ifugao State University is a recipient of two awards by the Philippine Librarian Association Incorporated-Cagayan Valley Regional Librarian Council (PLAI-CaVRLC) given during the Librarian’s Fellowship Night at Northeastern College, Santiago City on May 23, 2019.

The Service Award is in recognition for her outstanding efforts and commitment for 10 years of service as past officer of the association. On the other hand, the Nakem Award is in recognition for her outstanding efforts and commitment as past Conference Chair in organizing different seminars and trainings for the organization.  

“I am thankful for being a recipient of these prestigious awards given by the PLAI-CaVRLC,” an elated Dr. Tamargo said. She added, “The awards are added motivation for me to serve and provide our stakeholders better library services.”

The PLAI-CaVRLC is headed by Mrs. Franenicia Reconsal.
