3 more Ifugao towns, nearby BLGUs benefit from IFSU emergency response program

The Ifugao State University (IFSU), still on heightened bayanihan mode amid emerging COVID-19 positive cases in nearby provinces, turned over much-needed supplies to three (3) more Local Government Units (LGUs) in the province on March 30.

Mayoyao LGU received 10 sacks rice, 5 gallons alcohol, 2 cases energy drinks, 50 Information and Educational Campaign (IEC) materials on proper hand washing.

Meanwhile, IFSU gave each LGU of Kiangan and Tinoc 9 sacks rice, 5 gallons alcohol, 2 cases energy drinks, 50 pieces face masks, and IEC materials. On the other hand, Barangay LGUs of Bimpal, Payawan, and Nayon of Lamut town each acquired 80 grocery/food packs, and 15 pieces face masks.

Security Personnel of the institution also each received 20 food packs. As recalled, Asipulo LGU earlier benefitted from similar assistance, including packages of Korean food, "kimchi."
