Chamson M. Chang-goy: an aspiring teacher of IFSU Potia is also a cultural ambassador

As one of the international participants to the Asia Youth International Model United Nations Conference from November 3-6, 2018 in Bangkok, Thailand, Chamson M. Chang-goy, a student writer and future teacher of Ifugao State University (IFSU) Potia Campus, he also spoke and displayed his rich cultural heritage.

“As an Ifugao, I am proud of my cultural roots. Attending international conferences is one of the venues to speak and raise the consciousness of the international community about our culture,” said Chang-goy.

True to his words, he wore his indigenous attires during an activity of the said event. “I want to let other participants to see the diverse culture of our country. Our indigenous attires also speak of a rich tradition that students like can value for the more generations to come,” concluded Chang-goy.

IFSU in its vision puts premium on the rich cultural heritage of the province. As a University, we salute Chang-goy for being a model to other students in putting value and importance to the Ifugao culture not only in the school but also internationally.#
