IFSU Pres joins 1st Phil-Taiwan Presidents Forum

With the vision to put the Ifugao State University (IFSU) in the global arena, University President Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon participated during the 1st Philippines-Taiwan University Presidents’ Forum at the Wak-Wack Golf and Country Club, Mandaluyong City on August 23-24, 2018.

Organized by the Philippine Association of State Universities and Colleges (PASUC) and Taiwan Education Center (TEC)-Philippines with themed “Bridging Higher Education Institutions for Asian Inclusive Development,” the two-day affair aims to deepen educational cooperation among higher education institutions between the Philippines and Taiwan through internationalization. The forum also discussed global and inclusive education, sharing higher education resources, sustainable regional development, and educational innovation and industry links.

Selected officials from Philippine State Universities and Colleges, their counterparts from more than 20 Taiwan universities, Commission on Higher Education (CHED), and Taiwan’s Ministry of Education participated in the event.

Dr. Napoleon K. Taguiling, Dean of College of Advance Education, and Mr. Richard D. Baliao, Director of Public and International Affairs also attended the event.#
