IFSU 2017 Mid Year Commencement Exercises

The graduates take their oath of membership to the Ifugao State University Alumni Association

Ifugao State University (IFSU) had a Mid-Year Commencement Exercises 2017 at the Luis Hora Gymnasium with the theme: “Taking Steps and Connecting to Build…” on August 25, 2017.

The guest speaker of the said commencement was Dr. Luisa S. Valencia, CESO IV, Director IV, Administrative, Financial and Management Services, Commission on Higher Education-Central Office.

There were 307 graduates in which 244 came from College of Distance Education and Transnational Education; 16 came from the College of Advanced Education; 31 were baccalaureate graduates from IFSU Main Campus; 15 were baccalaureate graduates from IFSU Potia Campus and one baccalaureate graduate from IFSU Tinoc Campus.

Meanwhile, Best Dissertation Paper was awarded to Georgina C. Ducayso, thesis title: “School Based Management and Performances of Administrators and Teachers in the Public Secondary schools in Benguet.”

Best Thesis Papers were awarded to Manilyn F. Bartolo, thesis title: “Mother Tongue Based Instructional Material in Araling Panlipunan for grade 2”; Cris D. Dili, thesis title: “Mother Tongue Bases Instructional Material in Araling Panlipunan for Grade 1”; Gila D Diocena, thesis title: “Indigenized Information Communication Technology Based Instructional Material in Araling Panlipunan for Grade 3, Panitan, Capiz” and Mary Joy B. Donato, thesis title: “Mother Tongue Based Instructional Material for Kindergarten.”

Best Thesis Presenters were awarded to Julius Vicson T. De la Cruz, thesis title: “Conflicting Management Styles of Nurse Supervisors and Job Satisfaction of Health Personnel in Private Hospitals, Roxas City, Philippines” and to Democrito V. Barrientos II, thesis title: “Implementation of the IPED Program and the Performances of School Heads and Teachers of Secondary Schools in the Dicisioj of Aklan, Philippines.”

Also, Loyalty Awardees were Jogie D. Barongan, Nelson D. Bungihan, Erwin T. Dopiawon, Ferdelita B. Guinhiman and Erica B. Pad-ay. #
