READ: College of Health Science put on hold

For students who wish to take Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Midwifery and Certificate in Caregiving please be informed that the College of Health Sciences (CHS) is put on abeyance by virtue of Office Order 07a-2017 released on July 18,2017 duly signed by University President Dr. Serafin L. Ngohayon.

The office order stated the status of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) as thus:

“The operation of the College of Health Sciences (CHS) of IFSU Main Campus which has no student for this SY 2017-2018 is hereby put on hold/placed on moratorium. The assignment of Dean of CHS is effectively revoked/rescinded.”

“Faculty assigned in the CHS are also re-assigned to other campuses/colleges where their services and expertise are needed,” it added.

Old students of CHS can transact anytime and seek Dr. Nancy Ann P. Gonzales, Vice President for Academic Affairs, former Dean of CHS.

The Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) is not affected in the moratorium. The MAN is offered in the College of Advanced Education (CAE) and College of Distance Education and Transnational Education (CODETE).
