ALE Board Passers Testimonial Program

A Testimonial Program was made for the Ifugao State University-Main Campus Agriculturist Licensure Examination (ALE) Board Passers last April 2017 at the College of Agriculture and Home Science—College of Computer Science (CAHS-CCS) Atrium on May 30.

Dr. Dinah Corazom M. Licyayo, CAHS Dean gave the opening remark and congratulated the ALE Board Passers.

An inspiration talk was given by Dr. Napoleon K. Taguiling, Vice President for Research, Development Extension & Training, IFSU Topnotcher in the Licensure Examination for Foresters in 1990.

Dr. Taguiling landed Top Five (5) the batch of passers in 1990.

The Passers

Meanwhile, Dr. Rene W. Pinkihan, Chairperson, Diploma in Agricultural Technology-Bachelor in Agricultural Technology (DAT-BAT) presented the 2017 ALE Board Passers.
Out of the 2,938 examinees, only 927 passed the ALE board exam.

Eleven of them were from the IFSU Main-Campus, namely:
Bilalay, Danilo Jr. Butic;
Buyaco, Grethel Panhon;
Choy-awon, Jessa Lacutta;
Chug-e, Ronald Diodot;
Huagon, Valentino Belingon;
Jaravata, Jaynie Ga-ay;
Lammagan, Ryan Alfred Palaghicon;
Magastino, Mae Bel Tayaban;
Napoleon, Zarina Udan;
Ngatiyon, Estrelita Kimayong;
Wigan, Vanessa Umaguing

Ms. Grethel P. Buyaco who landed Top 10 with 84% passing rate.

Messages of Encouragement

Congratulatory and inspirational messages were given by the previous and present chairpersons of the CAHS.

They encouraged the newly licensed agriculturists to reach their goals in life but they also reminded them to stay humble and pay forward in whatever way they can when they are successful in the future.

They also reminded them to always pray and seek God at all times. Prayer is powerful they said.

On Being The Best

On the other hand, Ms. Grethel P. Buyaco, Top 10, gave response for the ALE passers.
Buyaco gave thanks to all the staff and faculty of CAHS.

She also thanked her previous instructors.

She shared her story on how she was able to land top 10 in the ALE Board Exam.

She told the audience to never give up and to continue pursue their dreams despite the challenges and trials that come their way.

She encouraged everyone to focus and set a deadline to finish something.

She also told to strictly follow their set of schedule.

In the end, she encouraged everyone to always pray.

Awarding and Toasts

Meanwhile, Certificates of Recognition were awarded to all the ALE passers and a token from the officers of the Future Agriculturist of the Philippines (FAP) was given to Buyaco.

Buyaco was also inducted to the IFSU Hall of Fame by Engr. Loinaz D. Dulawan, Chief Administrative Officer.

Dulawan said that while he is not a topnotcher, he is rendering an epic start of a registry into the Hall of Fame in the CAHS that would eventually be trailed as the topnotch are coming by.

A toast of celebration followed thereafter.
