IFSU Research gets International Funding
Getting a research draw attention from the international community is a tough endeavor but thankfully IFSU has always made it in the roster as research grantees, paper presenters or poster presenters in international research fora.
Yet another IFSU supported research entitled “English Language Skills of Alternative Learning System Recipients of Lamut District, Province of Ifugao, Philippines” authored by Dr. Jengjeng M. Bolintao is recipient of the 2017 CamTESOL and University English Centres Australia (UECA) Regional ELT Research Grant.
The grant came as a surprise to Dr. Bolintao who travelled to Cambodia on February 14, 2017 following the confirmed acceptance and the invitation to present her research paper on developing a culture-based primer for Ifugao, she submitted sometime in September 2016.
“The awarding of the grant was made sometime after my presentation in the pre-conference. I am honored to have made it as one of the recipients.”
As a recipient, Dr. Bolintao gets a fund from CAMTESOL and UECA to conduct the research, to present the output in the conference and free registration fee in the Regional English Language Teaching and free publication in the Language Education in Asia.
Dr. Bolintao’s joined other researchers who came from different parts of the world in the field of Sociolinguistics.
She is thankful to the IFSU family for their unrelenting support to its Faculty who are engaged in research. #
